The Town of Coventry is excited to announce that it’s Department of Parks and Recreation has been named DEPARTMENT OF THE YEAR by the Rhode Island Recreation and Park Association who stated, “The award recognizes a parks and recreation department whose dedication to the field has been demonstrated through efforts which enhance the lives of the people in their community.” This award highlights their dedication and devotion to providing opportunities and events for our community to participate in and attend. We look forward to working with our residents and business owners this year to support and promote even bigger and better community based events for all of us to enjoy.
