The detour planned for Reservoir Road on Monday, December 22nd has been postponed until further notice. The one-day detour will likely take place in January depending on weather and construction progress.
From December 22nd to the middle of January, work will be done in the Coventry High School parking lot and the school’s access road. No work will be done from noon on December 24th through December 25th. Work in the school’s parking lot will be done while students are on the winter break. While the access road is closed all school traffic, vehicles going to the school will use the Clubhouse Road entrance. The high school will adjust their pick-up/drop-off locations accordingly.
With the exception of work on the high school’s property, the project will take a break until after the work on the high school access road is completed. Information about a one-day detour to happen in January, and extended detours in the spring will be posted on the Town of Coventry website.
The major construction work on Tiogue Ave has been completed.
