Public Service Announcement: Beware of Scam Emails Regarding Planning Application Fees
The Town of Coventry is aware of fraudulent emails circulating that attempt to trick residents into paying Planning application fees through unofficial channels. Please be advised:
- All official Town correspondence will ONLY come from an email address ending in @coventryri.gov.
- All Planning applications, information, and fee payments are processed exclusively through the Town’s online permitting system, OpenGov.
If you receive any suspicious email requesting payment or personal information, do not respond and do not click any links. Instead, report the email to the Town immediately at coventry@coventryri.gov or call 401-822-9188.
